Heat resistant aluminosilicate fibres are produced by the melting of very pure raw materials followed by fibre forming of molten material in a spinning process. Fibres formed by this procedure are chopped into suitable lengths. After the addition of binders and mixing in to water, the resulting suspension is used for refractory paper production by conventional paper technologies. |
Typical applications:
- Furnace joint sealing - Cover material in material heat treatment processes - Fire barriers and other heat barriers and screens - Thermal insulating materials of low thickness |
