Blankets are made of fireproof aluminosilicate fibres that are produced by the melting of very pure raw materials followed by fibre forming of molten material in a spinning process. Fibres produced in this way are used for the manufacture of blankets by fibre-needling without any further use of binders. Blankets can be produced from two basic fibre types: STANDARD - up to 1260 oC, SUPER - up to 1430 oC. |
Typical applications: - Fibrous furnace lining - Furnace joint sealing - High-temperature filtration processes - Insulation of kiln cars - Furnace external insulating systems - Cover material in material heat-treatment processes - Fire barriers and other heat barriers and screens - High-temperature reactor insulating systems - Widely used by manufacturers of boilers, stoves and fireplaces |
