Formed shapes are manufactured using Sibral fireproof aluminosilicate fibres that are produced by the melting of very pure raw materials followed by fibre forming in a spinning process. Fibres formed through this procedure are chopped into suitable lengths. After mixing with suitable binders, the fibres are vacuum processed into formed shapes. The formed shapes can be produced from two basic fibre types:
STANDARD up to 1260 oC, SUPER - up to 1430 oC. |
